I am a SLAVE
I am a SERVANT
In Yoruba term: ‘AKODA OBA NIMI’
I do not have a message of my own
Less I will be disqualified and jailed!
The Holy Spirit has no other message
Than to make JESUS known through me!
As it is written!
Matthew 20:25-28
‘But Jesus called them to Himself and said,
“You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them,
and those who are great exercise authority over them.
Yet it shall not be so among you;
but whoever desires to become great among you,
let him be your ‘SERVANT’.
And whoever desires to be first among you,
let him be your ‘SLAVE’
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served,
but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Fellow Pilgrims,
We are called to be SLAVES and SERVANTS of GRACE
We are simply sent on an ERRANDS for the KING’S MANDATE
In Matthew 20 and 23, Jesus discourages the love of TITLES, FAME and ENTITLEMENTS if we are to be qualified to represent Him to people. (Believers or Non-Believers)
No big Auditorium,
No Merchandise model,
No Famous Titles,
No Honor before the world,
No other qualifications apart from His terms.
No other Man-Made Qualifications
Can become our proof of spiritual maturity before God.
The ONLY PROOF of LEADERSHIP in KING’S HOUSE
Is to be indeed SLAVES and SERVANTS to God’s people
And be committed to using ALL RESOURCES for people
Not ripping people off to making you and your family rich!
None of the 12 Apostles + Apostle Paul took advantage of people.
There are NO HISTORICAL RECORDS OF WHO WAS THE RICHEST AMONG the 12 Apostles + Apostle Paul!
Only the RELIGIOUS PHARISEES DID THAT!
They amassed personal/family wealth from the collective offerings of the poor coming to the temple to worship!
And were REBUKED BY JESUS! in Matthew 23.
Jesus accused them of turning His Father’s House of prayers
into the DEN OF THIEVES! – Matthew 21:12-13
