Every attempt of satan was well packaged to shift Jesus attention away from purpose. He was the force behind the scene playing out the dramas through the religious leaders, Judas Iscariot, Pontious, Roman Soldiers etc. Satan is a master schemer, those he uses have no idea that they are mere trumpets he uses for the tune of destruction! Despite and in spite of his schemes, Jesus lived and died for PURPOSE!
A man/woman without a stable conviction, he/she’s living for in life is like a rid tossed to and fro by all winds of unstable opinions of men just like the pendulum clock!
As for me, if I searched the Bible and I can’t find a link to the old landmark as lived, taught and written down for our guide and examples to pattern our life after, (Hebrews 12:1-2) by Jesus and His Apostles, YOU HAVE LOST ME! Nothing gladdens my heart except those things that can be traced to exactly how it was written. His blueprint, the infallible Word has NO PRIVATE INTERPRETATION! (2 Peter 1:20-21). As long as the Holy Spirit of Truth is in you, He will testify in agreement with The Truth. (1 John 2:20). That’s exactly what Jesus told us He (The Holy Spirit) will do.
John 14:26
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”
Watch out!!! Stop idolatry! It is not the “Preacher” that will bring to your remembrance all things that Jesus said to you…It is THE HOLY SPIRIT. Preachers ONLY job is to point you back to “THE WORD!!!” – So what happens if your relationship with the HOLY SPIRIT gets disconnected? – The Preacher becomes your IDOL and you become a house devoid of the door of entrance. You are at the risk of dangerous intruders and invaders of all kinds! Why? Because He that checkmates the spirit of errors contrary to the wholesome truth is dethroned from His rightful place.
Friends, if it will make me lose all the benefits this present world has to offer, I prefer that rugged cross type of road and I will gladly exit like Lazarus (Luke 16) without any form of pomp in this world. Just a little addition or subtraction to or from what is written in an efforts to please the diverse lust of men, it doesn’t matter how famous, influential and anointed any preacher or denomination could be, I will disconnect! – We have Only One Gospel as “It Is Written” any other denominational repackaged one is EVIL according to Galatians 1:6-10!
Therefore I encourage you brethren, (1 John 2:15-29)
“Let Truth Abide in You”
