Cleansings From Inside Out…Thoughts From His Presence

I may preach and sings with the voice of an angel
I may give unto charity with the shedding of my blood
The external displays that earn me honors and praises of men
I may know the scripture from Genesis unto Revelation
And yet have unresolved inner battles and seemingly little stains
The hurts and resentments, unforgiveness and conditional love
Conditional love for lovely people, friends and family folks
Silent hatred and dislike for unfriendly and unloving folks
Especially to those we think are blocking our earthly prosperity
Love expression to men as a byproduct of our feelings
The emotional love we express that is contrary and far from the type Jesus and brother Stephen showed to those that shed their blood. What a love that prays for his killers in the pool of his own blood! Oh dear Lord, teach me how to live ONLY for thee!
As little as those inner battles could be
They are potential stains on our garment
And if my Lord ever care and bother about my soul
He is particularly bothered about this aspect of my voyage
Which is the first service He required of me
Presenting to Him ALL my bodies – Inner and Outer
As a “LIVING SACRIFICE” from an Unblemish heart
This God calls my first and reasonable service
That I might not miss the flight of glory!
Years ago, a man after God’s heart reflected on same
He sat down and meditated on all his victorious battles
Despite all his exploits for God and the people of Israel
He searched himself inside out but realized his limits
He invited God to do a thorough searching on him:
“Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see
if there be any wicked way in me, and lead
me in the way everlasting.” – Psalm 139:23-24
Friends, that was God’s warning to us through King David
So that we might not miss His glorious and everlasting way:
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed
about with so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us lay aside every weight, and the sin
which doth so easily beset us, and let us
run with patience the race that is set before us,”
– Hebrews 12:1
We all know those hidden and besetting sins
we struggle with within our secret places
where Pastors and Church Folks don’t have access to
But are unhidden and clearly known unto God
Becuase the flight of glory might be sudden than you imagine
Let’s all reflect and judge ourselves less we are judged by Him
Let’s invite God like King David did “Search me O God…”
(Ps.139:23-24)
Men who ran ahead of us knew the importance of living ready
Living ready for the flight of glory coming like a thief in the night!
Hear how Apostle Paul handled this vital issues of inner battles:
“But I keep under my body, and
bring it into subjection: lest that
by any means, when I have
preached to others, I myself should
be a castaway.” – 1 Corinthians 9:27.
Like a THIEF IN THE NIGHT, the trumpet shall sound!
Invite God’s help in overcoming inner battles today!
That is the key to sure victory over the battles of life
And even becoming part of the passengers
inside His flight of glory!
The Time Is Short! – 1 Cor.7:29-31; Rev.12:12
