Amen to that prayer.
The truth is no one is given the divine authority to judge a “person”. That’s God place to judge a “person” unto heavenly reward or into the lake of fire. He will judge the living and the dead!
There is a judgment God gave authority to His saints to do less we are deceived in failing in that area.
1 Cor.2:14-15
“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.”
From the above scripture, the saints are saddled with responsibilities to JUDGE “THINGS” (Not a PERSON). So what are things? For example, you are my good friend, you know I am married or unmarried, and you saw me having or about to be having a sexual relationship with someone, not my wife.
According to Revelation 21:8
“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
You know that all sexually immoral souls will face second death in the lake of fire! If you love me, you must REBUKE the acts of sexual immorality in my life. An open rebuke of such actions is better than secret love. Proverbs 27:5 “Open rebuke is better than love carefully concealed.”
When you JUDGE my sexual immoral acts I’m about to commit or have committed; you are not JUDGING me as a person. Why? Because sexual immorality is not my name. It is not my personality! You only JUDGE the THING that will eventually make God JUDGE my person/soul into the lake of fire in the day of judgment.
Likewise, if you see me stealing money at work with a pen, adding zeros to figures, and I’m coming to church fellowship to testify it as God’s open doors. Or aiding and abetting with the corrupt politicians to share the proceeds of corruption in becoming rich or permitting their evil money as tithes, offerings, donations and prophets offerings in building giant auditoriums, and we call it prosperity. Knowing fully that our God hates robbery for offerings!
Isaiah 61:8
“For I, the Lord, love justice;
I hate robbery for burnt offering;
I will direct their work in truth,
And will make with them an everlasting covenant.”
So if you JUDGE such acts of STEALING either in a friend’s life or in a Preacher’s life and ministry, you have not to JUDGE their persons but THINGS as God commanded. Or when their mother gave birth to them, were they named “THIEF” or whose name is called “FORNICATOR” or “ADULTERER/ADULTERESS” during the naming ceremony?
In love and humility of heart with prayers of compassion, we MUST JUDGE SINS in the life of people (Not their persons).
THINGS/SINS, we failed to judge now, we eventually trigger the JUDGMENT of God against their PERSONS/SOULS on the day of God’s wrath. Like God warned Prophet Ezekiel, He is also warning His Church now!
Ezekiel 33:8-9, 11
“When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.”
This is JESUS COMMAND to His own disciples if you are one:
“Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’
John 3:36
“He who believes in the Son has everlasting life;
and he who does not believe the Son
shall not see life, but the wrath of God
abides on him.”
